Dear Campers,
We hope you are doing well!
This is just a brief update to share that when the stay-at-home order ends Tuesday February 16th, our Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph health unit will then be under the RED Control of the Response Framework.
<span<>What this means for the Pike Lake Campground AS OF TUESDAY FEBRUARY 16th:
You may come up to the campground briefly (a half hour or so) to check on your trailer but you are not allowed to stay. As our public washrooms are closed for the winter, you may not stay at your trailer and no sticking around for campfires or to socialize.
Please remember we are still under the stay-at-home order this weekend so you are not allowed to access the campground until the order is lifted on February 16th.
And remember, the campground roads are not maintained through the winter so you will have to walk in to your trailer if you choose to visit.
If you are concerned about snow, you may contact Shawn to check on your trailer for you. Please call or text Shawn Cowen at 519-323-6356 or scowen@pikelake.com
Our public health unit (Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph) has issued a class order effective 12:01am June 12, 2020:
Any customer, patron, employee or visitor who enters a commercial establishment in the WDG region is required to wear a face covering while inside the establishment. A face covering must now be worn in all Pike Lake owned buildings accessed by the public, as well as all local businesses in our area. This order is in effect until rescinded by the Medical Officer of Health.
Please review the attachment linked below from the WDG health unit regarding face coverings as it applies to Pike Lake and all those who wish to visit our facilities.
For more information, review the following on the WDG Website.
